A new shuttle service has been created, connecting the two Monaco ports of Port Hercule and Fonteville with the new Cala del Forte marina in Ventimiglia – which opened at the end of last year.

The service is expected to take around 15 minutes from port to marina and can carry up to 12 passengers at any one time.

The shuttle ‘Monaco One’ has been designed and fully built by Advanced Aerodynamic Vessels. She brings together marine and aeronautical engineering with her inverted wing shape.

The catamaran can reach speeds of 93km/h due to her two 350hp motors. The advanced aerodynamic design of ‘Monaco One’ means that fuel consumption has been halved, even when travelling at top speed.
