Exciting times ahead for Britain’s biggest boat builder, as we sign a MOU with Red Bull Advanced Technologies to work together on a family of small, fast sports boats.
There will be a family of products and the partnership and synergy with Red Bull Advanced Technologies will afford us access to extraordinary technology, materials and associated design.
Red Bull Advanced Technologies was founded with the mission of extending the culture of innovation and technical excellence achieved in Formula One to other leading industries, making it a natural partner for Sunseeker, which for more than 60 years has forged a unique path in Yacht manufacturing. Synonymous with style, design, ingenuity and performance, Sunseeker has always pursued the more advanced, the more ambitious, the more creative – and consequently, the more successful.
Commenting on the agreement, Aston Martin Red Bull Racing Team Principal Christian Horner said: “This is an exciting announcement for Red Bull Advanced Technologies and we are delighted to be working with Sunseeker. As a leading name in the marine industry, and one focused on innovation and development, a relationship with Sunseeker is an organic fit for us and it is very pleasing to be forging another pioneering partnership for Red Bull Advanced Technologies.”
Speaking on behalf of The Sunseeker London Group, Managing Director David Lewis commented, “We have had a relationship with Red Bull Racing for some time, which blossomed when we successfully supported them with our boats and team for the Monaco Grand Prix last year. This affiliation has now resulted in a successful next step with Sunseeker International signing an MOU with Red Bull Advanced Technologies to begin the development of a new and exciting range of sports boats.”
Christopher Head, Sales Director of Sunseeker London went on to say, “We have been extremely encouraged by the positive feedback from our customers relating to this partnership. F1 has always played a part in the Sunseeker story, and this will be a chance for us to share great technology with our own racing heritage. We hope to be able to reveal more details at Monaco Grand Prix in May this year.”
